As Dabney’s former Nutrition Consulting business, Engage Your Wellness, morphed into Restore + Revive Wellness Center, a company she co-founded, she needed a new brand and name to house her blog, share more of her personal journey, continue sharing the tips and tricks her audience loves, and the opportunity to capitalize on the honor of being onboarded with RewardStyle.

I wanted to keep her brand consistent because she wasn’t shifting gears entirely, but I also wanted to differentiate from Engage toward this new role for her as Dabney Poorter. While playing around with her Engage logo, I realized the triangles could create an abstract DP when flipped and reflected. Since everyone knows her as Dabney, and it’s such a memorable name, I knew we wanted to keep that as the main focus with the same strong block font from the Engage logo. From there we added a feminine touch of the Poorter script.
