All-knowing Father, You planned everything perfectly. Your word a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. You knew our flesh would want to seek out pleasure anywhere and everywhere but You. God, forgive us! Thank you for your unending grace and mercy and love most especially shown through Jesus on the cross. gad, as we step into a new week, will you help us walk in Your Holy Spirit, not in the spirit of the world? Will you remind us of the gift of dependence on You and that our enduring and eternal hope can and will be found in Jesus and eternity with you! Help us grow up in our faith - help us WANT to grow up in our faith! In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
